Our fixed-fee service reserves professional time and begins a defined assessment and coordination process. Refund eligibility therefore depends on the work already performed.
Before work begins
If you cancel before substantive assessment, evidence organization, or coordination begins, you may request cancellation and a refund, less any non-refundable transaction cost permitted by applicable law.
After work begins
Once work has started, any refund is assessed according to the completed portion of the agreed scope. Work already performed and committed third-party costs may be deducted.
Declined matters
If we determine that we cannot accept or continue a matter before paid work begins, the applicable payment will be cancelled or refunded. A decision not to accept a matter is not a statement about its legal merit.
Additional professional services
Legal representation and third-party professional services may have separate cancellation terms under their own engagement documents.
How to request a cancellation
Existing clients should use the secure workspace. Other requests may be sent to contact@individium.com with the invoice number and account email, but without sensitive evidence.
